WoW Dailies – Dugi’s Dailies Guide Review

Who else wants to get 25 daily quests done in under 2 hours?

Hi guys, Sinew here. As promised in my first post, I’m back with a verdict on Dugi’s Dailies Guide addon. I’ve put it through its paces and really tried to find any issues that it had so I could put together a comprehensive review for you, to let you know whether you should spend your money on this guide.

Here’s the deal. The guide consists of an in-game addon that you can download. It’s easy as can be to get it up and running, even if you’ve never installed an addon before, because Dugi includes step by step instructions that make installing it a breeze. Once you’re back in the game, the addon consists of a basic, easy to follow menu and a big 3D arrow that rotates to point in the direction of your next objective. If you’ve ever used questhelper, carbonite, or any of the other leveling guides, you’ll recognize this feature. And speaking of features, feature list in 3…2…1:

• Guides you to each daily quest objective with a big glowing arrow
• Prioritizes quests according to your reputation needs
• Includes jewelcrafting, cooking, and fishing dailies
• Includes guides for all 11 seasonal events
• Contains the optimal paths for all current WotLK daily quests
• Free lifetime updates

Here’s what it’s going to do for you. If you follow the built-in routines, Dugi’s Dailies Guide is going to help you to do your WoW dailies faster than ever before. We’re talking 25 dailies done in under 2 hours. Dugi has video proof of this on his website for the skeptics in the crowd.

I experienced very similar results, although I haven’t worked up the gold for dual spec yet so I was forced to do this as an undergeared protection warrior, so I was a bit more than 2 hours, but still clocked in at under 3 hours. In comparison, without this guide, to do 25 dailies, it takes me about 4 and a half to 5 hours, so quite the improvement.

Now is the guide perfect? No, it’s not. It doesn’t do the quests for you, nor does it point out any secret hidden areas where you can gather quest items without having to worry about mobs or competition. It just finds the absolute best path for pretty much any combo of dailies that you want to do, and guides you from start to finish to each one of the objectives, right until you turn the last one in. Sound good?

If cutting a couple of hours off of doing dailies every day sounds good enough for you, here’s what I want you to do next. Click over to Dugi’s website below, read what he’s got to say about his product. If you’re still liking what you hear, go ahead and grab a copy of the guide. If you like it, keep it. If you think it sucks, he’s got a 60 day money back guarantee, so you’re covered. At the very least, you want to sign up for his free area, he provides a ton of great regularly updated content in there.

If you want to burn through your dailies, make gold way faster, and finish off your rep grinds fast, you want Dugi’s Dailies Guide.

Northrend Fishing Dailies

If you’ve worked your fishing skill up to the cap, the Northrend fishing dailies can be a good source for some quick coin and cool rewards.  There are 5 different fishing dailies, and they’re given out by Marcia Chase at the Eventide Fountain in Dalaran.  Make sure you’re not in a raid group, as the fish you’ll be catching here are all quest items and they wont pop if you’re in a raid.

Blood is Thicker (Borean Tundra): You need 2 key ingredients here, beasts, and water.  Find some beasts that are close to water and kill one.  You’ll get a debuff called “Animal Blood”.  Hop in the water to wash it off and equip your fishing pole.  This will create a “Pool of Blood”  in the water for 3 minutes.  Cast your line in, and fish up your Bloodtooth Frenzies.  You’ll need 475 fishing skill for this quest to avoid fishing up junk.

Dangerously Delicious (Lake Wintergrasp): There’s nothing overly tricky about this one, other than avoiding players of the other faction long enough to catch the 10 Terrorfish needed.  To avoid pulling up junk, you’ll want 525 fishing skill here.

Jewel of the Sewers (Dalaran, The Underbelly): Again, nothing special here, just find a nice quiet place and fish until you get the Corroded Jewelry needed to complete the quest.  The no-junk skill level here is 525.

The Ghostfish (Sholazar Basin): You can fish up one of these guys along any river in Sholazar Basin.  Once you get one, eat it within a minute.  You’ll phase out into a land of white mists and the quest objective will complete, returning you to the real world after a few seconds.  As with the last two, you’ll need 525 skill to avoid catching junk.

Monsterbelly Appetite (The Frozen Sea): You’ll want to go south of Dragonblight to find this area.  Find an ice chunk to stand on and fish away.  You’re looking for a Bloated Monsterbelly.  When you get one, right-click it and you’ll receive a Severed Arm.  Take this to the First Aid trainer in Dalaran to complete the quest.  This one requires a whopping 575 skill to avoid junk, and in my experience, takes the longest to complete.  Hope you get one of the other ones.

Every fishing quest you turn in nets you a Bag of Fishing Treasures, as well as 250 reputation.  The bags contain gold and usually a couple of random items.  Some of the items sell for quite a bit, most notably the Porcelain Bell which sells for 100 gold.  The Northrend fishing dailies have great rewards considering how quick and easy they are, so make sure to give them a shot!

WoW Dailies – A New Add-On!

If you’ve got a level 80, you know that WoW dailies are easily one of the most efficient ways to earn gold in the game.  In addition to all that gold, you also gain reputation with the various factions, which earns you the right to buy epic gear, mounts, and recipes from the faction vendors.

Daily quests are even better at level 80 than they were at 70. With more of them available in every single Northrend zone, gaining rep for almost every WOTLK faction just became easier than ever.  Oh, and did I mention the gold?

The only issue is the same one that has plagued players since release…

Doing WoW dailies takes time.  Lots of it, in fact, if you want to knock out your daily limit of 25 every day.  Couple that with the fact that most players have no idea what order to do them in and you end up with an obvious time sink that can get very frustrating.

Now, if you’ve been playing the game for a while, you may have tried out a leveling guide addon.  You know, the ones with the big shiny arrow that lets you quest on autopilot?  If you’ve tried one, you know how much it can speed up your leveling, and if you haven’t, well, how does 6 days to 80 sound to you?  Probably a lot faster than your main got to 80, right?

Well, now there’s a system like that for WoW dailies.  You can just log in, choose where you’re going, and rip out 25 daily quests in around 2 and a half hours.  Not too shabby, huh?  Anyway, I just downloaded my copy, and you can count on me getting back to you with a review as soon as I’ve had a chance to put it through its paces.

Have fun with your daily quests, and I’ll get back to you about that addon.
